DMX’s family wants the world to know that his burial expenses are taken care of so don’t be fooled by the scammers, and Jay-Z and Beyoncé did not buy his masters.

While fans are mourning the loss of one of the greatest rappers of all time, scammers are trying to capitalize with fake burial donation campaigns.

The Simmons family has confirmed that they are not asking anyone to chip in on burial expenses so anything that you may have seen online suggesting otherwise is untrue.

The family also wants the public to know that they have not authorized the sale of any DMX merchandise, and they are not profiting off of any that is being sold.

Lastly, the family wants the public to know that the posts that have been floating around social media about Jay-Z and Beyoncé buying DMX’s masters for $10 million to give to his kids is also untrue.

It’s a damn shame that they will not let DMX Rest In Peace.
