Take dat…take dat education!
Congratulations to Sean “Diddy” Combs! The Hip Hop mogul saw his dream realized on Monday (August 29) when he opened the doors of his Capital Prep Harlem Charter School in his old neighborhood in Harlem.
In a post on his IG page, Diddy wrote:
Growing up in Harlem I always had a dream of opening a school with a leadership curriculum for our inner city youth. Through the grace of God and the support of the Harlem community my dream came true. I’m going from me to we!! I would like to thank Harlem, all my children in the school and the staff for making it happen!! #letsGO #CapitalPrepHarlem
Capital Prep has 160 sixth and seventh graders enrolled and will eventually hosts grades 6 through 12.
