Diddy Is No Longer Interested In Owning An NFL Team: ‘I Don’t Want To Be Associated With Oppressing Black Men’ (Video)
Diddy is no longer interested in owning an NFL team after they implemented the new policy regarding the National Anthem. Get the scoop.
Take That…Take That.…Back!
Diddy is no longer interested in owning an NFL team and I don’t blame him one bit.
You may recall the Hip Hop mogul stirred things up when he expressed an interest in buying the Carolina Panthers to become the first black majority owner in the NFL.
Diddy has now changed his tune and says he’s no longer interested after the NFL implemented their new policy regarding the National Anthem.
In a recent interview on BigBoyTV, Diddy said:
Man, I really wanted to go in there and be a part of the NFL and try to be a positive change. This last move, though, I don’t even want to own an NFL team no more.
I don’t want to be associated with oppressing black men. I don’t want to be associated with telling grown-ass men what they can do and cannot do.
Diddy went on to say:
All the NFL players, they’re in a messed-up position, but this is a defining time and if Ali and them was able to do it and Jim Brown was able to do it, if ya’ll stick together, they can’t break you.
