A limousine carrying Diana Ross to her show at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center was hit Wednesday afternoon by an SUV and the legendary singer suffered apparent minor injuries, city police said.

The 72-year-old was a passenger in a 2006 Lincoln Town Car limo that was going east at 4:56 p.m. in the 100 block of East Third Street, police said. The limo was struck by a 2009 Acura SUV that went thorugh a stop sign on Adams Street, police Chief Mark DiLuzio said. After hitting the limo, the SUV struck a fire hydrant, DiLuzio said.

The driver of the Acura, 22-year-old Jane Mousseau, of Maplewood, New Jersey, was not hurt, DiLuzio said.

Ross complained of head and neck pain and was treated by city paramedics, but said she would seek further care on her own, DiLuzio said.

She performed as scheduled Wednesday night and made no mention of the crash during her show.

The legendary diva took to her Facebook page on Thursday to confirm she was in an accident, but she reassured her fans she’s fine and her shows will go on as scheduled.

The legendary diva did take to her social media accounts to reassure her fans she’s okay.

It’s great to know she’s going to be okay.
