The Department of Corrections is expected to dismiss charges against the parolee who was wounded in the shooting that took the life of beloved rapper Nipsey Hussle.
Kerry Nathan, who was shot in the spine outside of Nipsey’s Marathon store on March 31, was arrested by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation on a parole violation after the department determined Nipsey was a known gang member.
Nathan, who had just served 24 years for murder, reportedly went to the Marathon clothing store because Nipsey Hussle was going to give him new clothes to wear, was standing near Nip when Eric Holder opened fire.
The DOC is dropping the charges and currently working on his release.

It’s despicable that he was even violated in the first place.
Kerry Lathan is reportedly paralyzed as a result of the shooting.
