Dave Chappelle Joins ‘A Star Is Born’ Remake

On the heels of having the biggest comedy special ever on Netflix, Dave Chappelle has joined the cast of Warner Bros. A Star Is Born remake starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.

According to Deadline, the comedian will play will an old friend of Cooper’s Jackson Maine, the country music star who is on the brink of decline when he discovers a talented unknown named Ally (Germanotta). When her career eclipses Jackson’s own, he finds it increasingly hard to handle his fading glory.

The film is slated to be released on September 28, 2018.
