Dave Chappelle performed a comedy stand-up show Tuesday night (December 28) at the Peppermint Club in West Hollywood, and his cancel-proof glow was on full display in front of a packed house.

It was a cold night in California, but that didn’t stop fans and a bunch of celebrities from showing up to support Chappelle.

Some of the celebrities at the show included, Talib Kweli, Mario, Casey Affleck, Jeff Ross, Andrew Garfield, Odell Beckham Jr. and his girlfriend, Lauren Wood.

Reportedly, Chappelle was in great spirits and more often than not that translates to a great performance.

Chappelle received backlash from the Trans community following the release of his Netflix stand-up special, “The Closer,” which premiered October 5, 2021.

Many people wanted the special to be removed from Netflix, and some Netflix employees staged a walk out in protest.

Due to the backlash, Chappelle said his new documentary “Dave Chappelle Live In Real Life” has not received any support from the movie industry.

He has been promoting the movie himself, and showing it at some of his comedy shows.

Chappelle addressed the backlash and commented on the movie industry attempting to cancel his documentary in a video clip he posted to his Instagram account labeled “Stunted.”

Watch the “Stunted” video clip below:

Dave Chappelle is too smart and too powerful to be canceled, in my opinion.
