Brother Of Mark Hughes Speaks Out
Cory Hughes is speaking out to let the world know his brother, Mark Hughes, had nothing to do with the deadly shooting at a Dallas protest on Thursday.
Four officers were killed and seven others were injured when snipers launched an attack from an elevated position.
Shortly after the shooting, the Dallas Police Department tweeted out a photo of Mark with the caption, “This is one of our suspects! Please help us find him!”
The photo was retweeted 38,000 times.
After Mark turned himself in for questioning, Dallas PD referred to him as a “person of interest.”
When Cory, who reportedly organized the event, saw his brother’s photo circulating as a suspect he reached out to CBS to set the record straight:
