Cory Hardrict is shutting down cheating rumors a day after we learned his wife, Tia Mowry, filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage.

The news of the divorce filing came as such a shock that people felt something catastrophic had to have happened for the couple to end their beautiful union.

In her divorce petition, Tia cited “irreconcilable differences” for the demise of her marriage, but that didn’t stop people from accusing Cory of cheating.

Once the news of the divorce went public, Tia Mowry released the following message via social media:

I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways.

These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness.

We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.

I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.

See Tia’s original post below.

Cory Hardrict remained silent until he took to social media to shut down rumors that he cheated on Tia Mowry.

It all began when one person commented, “Cory nooooo. Don’t fumble Tia!!”

Another person responded, “He fumbled already ma.”

A third person added, “He cheated on her,” and Cory responded to the comment writing, “Lies!”

The truth of the matter is none of us know what went on in their marriage and to speculate only adds confusion and drama to a painful transition in their lives.

Tia and Cory met on the set of their film, Hollywood Horror, and dated for six years before tying the knot in 2008.

They share two beautiful children, Cree and Cairo.

Tia Mowry currently stars on the hit Netflix series, “Family Reunion,” and Cory Hardrict has guest starred on “The Chi,” and he’s a series regular on The CW’s “All American: Homecoming.”

I wish them both the best during this difficult time.
