During Thursday’s show, Ellen DeGeneres revealed her father, Elliott DeGeneres, passed away this week. He was 92.
The award-winning talk show host said, “In addition to what’s going on in Montecito, I lost my dad this week. He was 92 years old. He had a good, long life.”
In a post on her Instagram page, she added, “It wasn’t unexpected. I was able to say goodbye.”
