Cleo Anthony, who starred as Ares on the short-lived Halle Berry series, “Extant,” has been cast as the lead male in Spike Lee‘s “She’s Gotta Have It” Netflix series.
According to Deadline, Cleo will star opposite of DeWanda Wise, as one of Nola Darling’s lovers, Greer Childs, a former model turned successful photographer who longs for an artist’s life.
“Hamilton” star Anthony Ramos has also been cast as Nola Darling’s lover, Mars Blackmon, who still wears Jordans but now is a social-media phenomenon.
I’m really excited for everyone involved in this project and can’t wait to watch.
