Ciara’s New Single ‘I Bet’ Is An Open Letter To Her Ex-Fiance Future – Listen Now!

New Music - Ciara - I Bet

Ciara has released her first single, “I Bet” from her forthcoming album, Jackie, named after her mother.

The Harmony Samuels-produced tune written by Ciara and Rock City, is clearly an open letter to her ex-fiance, Future.

CiCi let’s the song cry as she sings:

I bet you start lovin me soon as I start lovin someone else
Somebody better than you
I bet you start needing me soon as you see with someone else
Somebody other than you
And I know it hurts…you know that it hurts your pride
But, you thought the grass was greener on the other side
I bet you start lovin me soon as I start lovin someone else
Somebody better than you

Ciara also addressed Future’s alleged homie-lover-friend and fires shots with lyrics like, “Is that your bi**ch over there givin’ me the ugly stare / The one with the silicone ass and the Brazilian hair.”

But, the most heartbreaking moment in the song was at the end when Ciara sang, “I’m singing this song ’cause I love you. Right now, it’s killing me ’cause now I have to find someone else when all I wanted was you.”

I can totally get jiggy with this joint. Ciara got this one off.

Listen to “I Bet” below.
