Chris Brown stole the show when he participated in Power 106’s celebrity basketball game at USC over the weekend. But, it wasn’t for his hooping skills on the court.
The R&B star, who has been very vocal in his support of Colin Kaepernick‘s protest of the National Anthem, followed suit by remaining seated while Tank sang.
Before Tank began, he asked everyone to please stand and participate considering the fact that Sunday was the 15th anniversary of 9/11.
“I understand everybody’s exercising their right to stand or sit and exercising their right to freedom and justice,” he said. “But in the wake of 9/11, please understand the fact that real men, women, and children lost their lives for this very thing that we’re able to stand for today.”
Breezy still remained seated. Watch below.
Chris had no worries as he took to Instagram and wrote, “Stay classy.”
