The ITF (Internet Task Force) is raising an eyebrow at Childish Gambino after he was accused of stealing music for his hit single, “This Is America,” from rapper New York rapper Jase Harley.

In March of 2016, Jase released a song titled “American Pharoah” and BRUH the similarities are uncanny.

Donald Glover‘s manager, Fam Rothstein, was livid when he took to Twitter to shut down the accusations.

He tweeted:

The internet is a place of no consequences.

I hate that Toronto Akademiks/every white blogger can say something as gospel and y’all take it. This song is 3 yrs old, and we have Pro Tools files to prove it.

But, f*ck you and your moms, and your future fetuses. Stay blessed.

The good news is Jase Harley isn’t tripping.

Although he feels his music did inspire “This Is America,” he appears to be more flattered than angry.

Plus, the controversy is bringing more awareness to him and his music.

He wrote via Instagram:

Listen for yourself and let me know if the two songs sound similar….
