Charges Dropped Against Najee Smith
On Thursday, a Manhattan Criminal Court judge dropped harassment and criminal trespass charges against LL Cool J‘s son, Najee Smith.
In September, Najee went to Catch Rooftop in the Meatpacking District to celebrate his 26th birthday. According to reports, Najee got drunk and caused a disturbance inside the club. When he and his party were asked to leave, they began fighting the bouncers at the club.

“The people are moving to dismiss this case as we cannot prove it beyond a reasonable doubt,” said prosecutor Hannah Yu as Najee Smith, 26, stood beside his defense lawyer wearing all black.
“The case is dismissed and sealed,” ordered Judge Laurie Peterson.
Smith declined to comment as he left Manhattan Criminal Court.
“It’s amazing that a person has to go through all this nonsense when his case is dismissed,” said his defense lawyer, Marvin Kornberg.
Hopefully, going forward…Najee will drink and party more responsibly.
