Cardi B SUED By Her Former Manager For $10 Million

Cardi B is being sued by her former manager after jumping ship to sign under the same management team as her fiancé/baby’s father, Offset.

Klenord “Shaft” Raphael claims he discovered Cardi B in 2015 and played a very big part in making her the star that she is today. In a statement through his rep, he says that he is hurt that she would freeze him out of her career once she popped off.

Since discovering Cardi B in 2015, Shaft has played an integral role in developing her music career and public image.

While he is proud of their successful collaborations as she evolved from Instagram influencer to music megastar, Shaft is disappointed by her actions to freeze him out of her career, which are detailed in the complaint.

Shaft is confident that his lawsuit will validate his conduct and substantiate his legal claims.

Cardi left Shaft and KSR Group in March to sign with Solid Foundation, the management wing of Quality Control, which is headed by Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “Pee” Thomas.

Shaft Raphael is seeking $10 million judgement.
