Cardi B has filed a $15 countersuit against her ex-manager Klenord Raphael to have all management and recording agreements between them declared void.

In April, Klenord (better known as Shaft) slapped the Hip Hop star with a $10 million suit claiming he discovered Cardi in 2015 and played a vital role in her success.

He stated that he was hurt when she jumped ship to sign with the same management as her husband, Offset, of the Migos and froze him out of her career once she popped off.

In her countersuit, Cardi B claims Shaft shafted her under their management deal.

Via The Hollywood Reporter:

“This case arises out of the deceitful and disloyal conduct of a self-serving and controlling personal manager, Counter-Defendant Klenord ‘Shaft’ Raphael and his entities through which he does business, WorldStar and KSR, who together, among other things, breached their contractual and fiduciary duties to Counter-Plaintiff Belcalis Almanzar, an immensely talented and trusting young artist,” states Cardi B’s court filing.

Cardi B acknowledges a management agreement with WorldStar, but asserts that the agreement was breached by Shaft’s company when it failed to appoint an independent business manager, failed to provide her with monthly accountings, failed to provide adequate payment to her, and failed to provide documentation of expenses.
