The 2017 BET Awards nominations were announced today and there are some pretty ecstatic first-time nominees.

“Love & Hip Hop” star Cardi B scooped 2 nominations for Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Best New Artist.

It didn’t take long before the reality star-turned-rapper began trending on Twitter.
