A new show has unearthed some old footage of Cardi B portraying Coretta Scott King in a skit called, “Real Housewives of the Civil Rights Movement.”
Apparently, the skit is part of a new series from Rip Michaels titled, “Off The Rip.”
In the clip, the Cardi, who was then an internet sensation, joked about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.‘s contribution to the Civil Rights Movement and made references to his alleged infidelities.
In case you missed it…
The controversial footage has caused quite a bit of chatter and left the cast of “Greenleaf” mortified when they heard it.

Bernice King, who was rightfully offended by the skit, took to Twitter to let everyone know Cardi B had contacted her to issue an apology for the offensive skit that resurfaced on 55th anniversary of King’s 1963 “I Have A Dream” speech.
