Cam Newton took to twitter recently to remind America to wear masks and social distance…and according to reports, he may be back on the field this Sunday.

Michael David Smith from Pro Football Talk reported Tuesday that Cam has been asymptomatic and may be available to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

I don’t think this is a good idea because studies have shown that asymptomatic carriers can still spread the virus.

An asymptomatic case is an individual infected with SARS-CoV-2 who does not exhibit symptoms during the course of infection.

Since Cam tested positive for COVID-19 last week, it has been reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero that New England cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who played in the Chief’s game this past Sunday, tested positive as well.

Sports analysts and medical professionals believe it was a mistake by the NFL to allow the Patriots-Chiefs game to be played because it can take a few days before players show a positive test after exposure.

It is unknown how Cam Newton caught the virus, but he shared his feelings about his diagnosis via his Instagram account.

I never will question Gods reasoning; just will always respond with, ‘Yes Lord!’ I appreciate all the love, support, and well wishes!! I will take this time to get healthy and self reflect on the other amazing things that I should be grateful for!!

The NFL plans to allow the Denver vs. New England game to be played this Sunday, but it is unknown if Cam will be cleared to play.

I won’t be surprised if Cam Newton plays for the Patriots on Sunday because I can clearly see a multibillion-dollar business like the NFL valuing revenue over health.

Do you think Cam Newton will play on Sunday?
