Cam Newton Covers GQ
NFL star Cam Newton is gracing the September issue of GQ magazine and some of his thoughts are just as suspect as his fashion choices.
In January, Cam was very vocal about the criticism he faced saying, “I’m an African-American quarterback that may scare a lot of people because they haven’t seen nothing that they can compare me to.”
It appears he’s had a change of heart because the Carolina Panthers QB now says he doesn’t believe it was racism because America is “beyond that.”
Cam said, “I don’t want this to be about race, because it’s not. It’s not. Like, we’re beyond that. As a nation.”
