
A New Hampshire man, who is wanted in connection to a shooting, is now facing additional charges after he exchanged bites with a police dog.
State police entered a home in Boscawen to scoop two men on outstanding warrants. One unsuccessfully tried to hide under a pile of clothes until he was spotted by Veda the police dog.
Veda bit the man. That’s when the man put the dog in a chokehold and bit four-legged officer on the head.
Both men were charged with resisting arrest. The man who bit Veda also faces charges of interfering with a police dog and assaulting an officer.
Veda has been checked out and cleared to return to duty.
