Kenneth Walker, the boyfriend of Breonna Taylor, recently sat down with Gayle King and detailed the night she was killed by Louisville police in an exclusive interview with “CBS This Morning.”

The Louisville police recklessly served a no-knock warrant at Breonna’s apartment on March 13.

When they kicked in the door, Kenneth, who is a licensed gun owner, fired one shot thinking intruders were entering their home.

Police returned a hail a gunfire and riddled the apartment with bullets.

Kenneth told Gayle:

I’ve never heard so many gunshots. I’ve never been to war, but I assume that’s what war sounds like.

Kenneth revealed he was holding Breonna’s hand when she was struck by multiple bullets.

He called his mother, he called 9-1-1, and he called Breonna’s mother distraught and confused by what was happening.

And he still didn’t know it was the police.

When Kenneth Walker heard voices he thought it was the police and paramedics coming to help him and Breonna.

Instead, he was taken into custody and treated like a criminal.

The officer asked me what I hit by any bullets. I said, ‘No,’ and he said, ‘That’s unfortunate.’

The most heartbreaking revelation of Kenneth’s interview was when he told Gayle King, no one told him Breonna Taylor didn’t make it.

He saw it on the news.

I never really got told directly. I saw it on the news….I was in the cell and it was on the news.

It said, ‘One female dead. Confirmed.’ I didn’t know for sure what condition she was in when I left.

So, I don’t know what they did.

As these body cam videos come out I see they did nothing.

Watch the interview below:

Sadly, not ONE officer was charged in the shooting death of Breonna Taylor.

Brett Hankinson was charged for the bullets that entered a neighboring apartment.
