Bobby Brown was removed from a Jet Blue flight on Monday morning after the R&B singer was accused of being intoxicated.

The flight was leaving LAX headed to Boston where Bobby was flying to attend his cousin’s funeral.

There was some type of altercation or misunderstanding in first class, where Bobby Brown was seated and the airline made the decision to remove everyone from the plane.

When Bobby deboarded the plane, police officers were waiting for him and they had questions.

The singer was understandably agitated considering the fact that he missed his flight and he was trying to get home to a funeral.

Passengers who were sitting near Bobby say the airline overreacted. While he may have been tipsy, he wasn’t causing any issues.

Jet Blue released a statement to TMZ saying Bobby Brown was “removed from the aircraft prior to departure after crewmembers observed indications of intoxication. The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. In this instance, the customer was offered a seat on a later flight. The customer declined and was issued a refund.”

It’s unclear if Bobby was arrested or given a citation or a stern talking to. But, I hate that he missed his flight.

Bobby took to social media last week to pay tribute to his cousin, Bear Woods.

My condolences and prayers to Bobby and his family during this difficult time.
