Bobby Brown has released a statement regarding the $36 million judgement against Nick Gordon after he was found liable for the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
In the statement, released through his attorney Christopher Brown, Bobby said he is pleased with the outcome and that Nick will not be able to profit off of Bobbi Kristina’s death.
Bobby also called on the District Attorney to file charges and stop dragging their on the case.
I am pleased with the outcome of today’s court proceedings. I do know that Mr. Gordon will be unable to slander my daughter’s name in the future or obtain any benefits from the use of Krissy’s name.
Finally, I do need for the District Attorney’s Office to step up and begin the criminal prosecution of Mr. Gordon. The delay in that matter is of great concern to me and my family.
We need for District Attorney Howard to act now.

District Attorney Paul Howard issued a statement after the prior ruling saying it is still an ongoing investigation.
As we have stated on numerous occasions and we will repeat again today, this case remains under active investigation by our office. Our investigation will encompass all relevant facts and circumstances, including the body and content of the civil action holding Nick Gordon civilly responsible for the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
