Bobby Brown wants control of Bobbi Kristina’s estate.

Bobby Brown has filed a petition seeking guardianship of Bobbi Kristina‘s estate.

The R&B singer’s 22-year-old daughter, who has been hospitalized and fighting for her life since January 31, is the sole heir of Whitney Houston‘s will and Pat Houston is the executor.

Cissy Houston Says Bobbi Kristina Has Irreversible Brain Damage & Bobby Brown’s Wife & Attorney Release Statements

On April 18, Bobby told his fans that Bobbi Kris was awake. A day later, Cissy Houston said her granddaughter is suffering from irreversible brain damage. She added, “Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me.”

Cissy’s attorney, David W. Long, released a statement in response to Bobby’s filing saying:

This is a family matter involving sensitive information. We hope to resolve this in a manner that is respectful of Bobbi Kristina’s sensitive health information. The Houston family has always looked out for the best interest of Bobbi Kristina Brown. The family has done so all of her life and will continue to do so. We trust that others have the same objective.

I’m sure Bobby Brown has the best intentions for his baby girl.

Continue to keep Bobbi Kristina in your prayers.
