Bobbi Kristina’s Hospice Caregiver Officially Charged
Taiwo Sobamowo, the woman who cared for Bobbi Kristina Brown during her two-month stay at the Peachtree Christian Hospice center has been arrested for impersonating a nurse.
Via CBS News:
Gwinnett County jail records show that Taiwo Sobamowo is being held on charges of practicing registered nursing with no license.
Brown, the only child of singers Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, died July 26, six months after she was found face-down and unresponsive in the bathtub of her Roswell townhome in January 2015.
CBS affiliate WGCL previously reported that Sobamowo provided fake credentials, showing she was licensed to work as a registered nurse. She was terminated from the facility on Aug. 5 after she was unable to provide the proper proof of licensure.
A police report states that Sobamowo was in charge of caring for Bobbi Kristina Brown at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, where Brown spent the final days before her death. There is no indication in the Duluth police report that Brown’s care was adversely affected by Sobamowo.
