A black motorist in Seminole County, Florida is facing very serious charges including attempted murder after a routine traffic stop quickly escalated into a terrifying encounter.

Rocky Rudolph Jr. was pulled over by Seminole County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron Blais around 9:30 a.m. on June 29 for having dark tinted windows.

Shortly after Blas approached the vehicle, he began to question Rocky about the scent of marijuana coming from his vehicle. Rocky looked confused.

That’s when Deputy Aaron Blais instructed Rocky Rudolph Jr. to turn off his vehicle and he began copping pleas. From there, everything went downhill fast!

The deputy grabbed the seatbelt in Rocky’s car and immediately pulled his weapon. Rocky was terrified and began begging for his life.

Then, in a swift motion, Rocky reached for the gun and hit the gas dragging Blais 100 feet before trying to make a getaway on foot.

He didn’t get far because Deputy Aaron Blais shot him in the leg during the chaos.

Rocky Rudolph Jr. is being charged with attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting an officer with violence.

He is currently being held without bond in Seminole County Jail.
