Big Freedia suffered a devastating loss as her brother, Adam Ross, was murdered in New Orleans on Wednesday (Jan 24), just days before her birthday.
Ross, 35, was fatally shot in Central City at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Magnolia Street.
New Orleans Police released a statement saying Adam was found unresponsive on the sidewalk at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Big Freedia, who is celebrating her 40th birthday today, took to social media to mourn the death of her brother.
Today A Queen was born and This has to feel like the worse birthday ever ,losing my brother 4 days before today I’m still thankful to make another bday just wishing that if I could have One wish for my day I would ask to have my brother back !
