Beverly Johnson Responds To Bill Cosby Dropping His Defamation Suit Against Her
On Thursday, we learned Bill Cosby had dropped his defamation suit against Beverly Johnson so that he and his legal team could focus all of their efforts towards fighting the criminal sexual assault case against him.
Bill Cosby Drops His Defamation Case Against Beverly Johnson…For Now
Once Beverly received the news, she took to social media to release a statement that read:
It has come to my attention that Mr. Cosby has dropped his suit against me. However, this not my conversation, rather a collective one on the America we create through public discourse when it comes to victims of abuse and the respect we carry for women.

According to Bill’s lawyers, they plan to refile the defamation suit against Beverly Johnson before the statute of limitations runs out.
