The mother of a missing New Jersey teen posted a desperate plea on social media for the return of her missing daughter after the girl’s photos popped up on sex trafficking websites.
According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, 17-year-old Aviana Weaver was last seen on September 12 in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
Aviana’s mother, Angelica Scarlett, said earlier this week investigators found “pornographic pictures” of her daughter looking “completely upset and unhappy” on trafficking websites.
Ms. Scarlett took to Facebook on Saturday declaring, “The streets can’t have my daughter.”
