An aspiring rapper who fell asleep in his car in a Taco Bell drive-thru was shot to death by six Vallejo, California police officers.

On Saturday night, an employee of the restaurant called 911 to report a man in a silver Mercedes slumped over the wheel in their drive-thru line.

When police arrived, they found 20-year-old Willie McCoy, aka Willie Bo, asleep in the vehicle with a handgun on his lap.

The department released a statement claiming when the officers approached Willie’s vehicle, he “began to suddenly move and looked at the uniformed patrol officers.”

The statement added, “Officers gave the driver several commands to put his hands up. The driver did not comply and instead, he quickly moved his hands downward for the firearm. Fearing for their safety, six officers fired their duty weapons at the driver.”

Basically, they startled Willie in his sleep and killed him.
