Apollo Nida wants to see his sons, but claims his wife won’t let him!
The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, who is behind bars in a Kentucky prison serving an eight-year sentence for bank fraud, told Life & Style magazine his estranged wife, Phaedra Parks, refuses to allow him to see his two sons, Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 2.
I’ve told her I really need to see them and that I need that support.
But it’s still up in the air. It’s as if I have to jump through hoops from behind bars.
Apollo says he is allowed to talk to his boys on the phone and added, “It makes them sad that Daddy isn’t home with them.”
I can’t knock Phaedra for protecting her sons. I wouldn’t be comfortable taking small children into a prison to visit anyone.
If Apollo is going to be angry with anyone it should be himself. He put himself in this situation knowing he has two beautiful children who need him.
