Welp…that was quick! The New England Patriots have dropped Antonio Brown like a bad habit two weeks after signing him.
The wide receiver was cut from the team on Friday amid the mounting misconduct allegations against him off of the field.
The Patriots released the following statement:
We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time.
AB took his pink slip graciously and posted the following tweets:
Antonio Brown is accused of sexually assaulting his former trainer, Britney Taylor, and he refused to sign a $2 million agreement to settle her civil suit.
Via ESPN:
In addition to the lawsuit, Brown faces another allegation of sexual misconduct by a female artist who was working at his Western Pennsylvania home in 2017.
That allegation was part of a Sports Illustrated report published Monday that detailed domestic incidents involving Brown, a charity auction theft and multiple unpaid debts.
Oh, and he’s also lost his endorsement deal with Nike.
Whew
Do you think anyone else will sign him.
