Andy Cohen regrets dragging Ryan Seacrest on New Year's Eve

Andy Cohen has been quite the hot topic after his litty New Year’s Eve co-hosting gig alongside Anderson Cooper on CNN.

If you missed it, Andy went on a drunken rant where he threw shade trees at everyone from Mark Zuckerberg to former Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Here’s a lil taste of what went down…

Typically, after getting too turnt…there are regrets the next day.

For Andy Cohen, he admits he regrets taking shots at Ryan Seacrest, who was across the way hosting ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

At one point in the New Year’s Eve broadcast, Andy said:

There’s a bunch of smoke coming from Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers that are performing behind us.

If you’re been watching ABC tonight, you’ve seen nothing, I’m sorry.

During his “Radio Andy” show, he told his co-host, John Hill:

The only thing that I regret saying … is that I slammed the ABC broadcast and I really like Ryan Seacrest. And he’s a great guy and I really regret saying that.

I was just stupid and drunk and feeling it. I was continuing the Journey rant and I just kept talking and I shouldn’t have. And I felt bad about that.

Is there anything else you think I should apologize for?

Listen to the clip below.

Despite getting slizzard and talking recklessly, Andy Cohen will be back on CNN to ring in 2023.

A spokesperson for the network told People:

Andy said something he shouldn’t have on live TV.

We’ve addressed it with him and look forward to having him back again next year.

CNN clearly said, “Ratings over everything!”
