Amirah Vann Joins ‘Unsolved’
“Underground” alum Amirah Vann is grinding like the Clipse.
After slaying her recurring role on “How to Get Away with Murder,” she has booked another gig on USA Networks’ forthcoming true-crime anthology series, “Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.”
Written by Kyle Long, Unsolved chronicles the dual police investigations of Detective Greg Kading (Josh Duhamel) and Detective Russell Poole (Jimmi Simpson) into the controversial murders of two of the rap industry’s most legendary players, Tupac Shakur (Marcc Rose) and The Notorious B.I.G. (Wavyy Jonez).
Vann will play FBI Agent Justine Simon, the youngest and only female member of the 2006 task force; something she’s used to and never lets get in her way.
Anthony Hemingway (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story) directs and executive produces along with Mark Taylor through their Hemingway | Taylor production company. Long executive produces. Former LAPD Detective Greg Kading, who worked on the 2006 investigation into the murders, will also serve as co-executive producer.
You go girl!
