Antonella Barba is going from “American Idol” to American inmate.
The season 6 contestant pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing and distributing fentanyl.
Antonella was part of a drug ring in Hampton Roads, Virginia from late 2017 through the fall of 2018.
She got popped trying to deliver 830.8 grams of fentanyl. She also had 400 grams of a “mixture or substance” that contained a detectable amount of fentanyl.
By entering a guilty plea, Antonella should be facing a mandatory minimum term of 10 years in prison, a maximum sentence of life in prison, a fine of $10,000,000, a possible forfeiture of assets, and five years of supervised police.
But, I doubt that will be the case because she’s already taken a plea deal.
The pusher is slated to be sentenced on November 21, 2019.
Antonella Barba ain’t new to a life of crime. She was arrested for shoplifting in 2010.
