You can always count on Orlando Jones to tell it like it T-I-is!

On Saturday, the actor who starred as Mr. Nancy on the hit Starz series, “American Gods,” gave the scoop on why he was fired from the show back in September.

In a video posted on his social media accounts, Orlando claims the “American Gods” showrunner (Chris Eglee) made the decision because he felt Mr. Nancy was the wrong message for black America.

The new Season 3 showrunner is Connecticut born and Yale-educated, so he’s very smart, and he thinks that Mr. Nancy’s angry, get s— done is the wrong message for black America. That’s right, this white man sits in that decision-making chair and I’m sure he has many black BFFs that are his advisers and made it clear to him that if they did not get rid of that angry god Mr. Nancy, he’d start a Denmark Vesey uprising in the country.

On Instagram, Orlando Jones captioned the video:

I was fired from #americangods on September 10th 2019. Just like Gabrielle Union, Mel B, Nick Cannon, Heidi Klum have all said working with @fremantle is absolute nightmare. Stay tuned. I will tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. #AngryGetsShitDone ??

I ain’t mad at Orlando for ringing the alarm on Starz!
