Alton Sterling’s Son Calls For Peaceful Protests

Alton Sterling‘s son, Cameron, spoke out and asked the public to “protest the right way” in an effort to get justice for his father.

In a press conference on Wednesday, the 15-year-old stood outside of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, convenience store where his father was shot dead by police and asked everyone to remain on one chord.

Everyone needs to protest in the right way — with peace, not violence. No violence whatsoever.

Everyone needs to be on one chord, not a different note. Everyone needs to be together, not apart and I truly feel that my father was a good man, and he will always be a good man.

The young man also said his father was a “good man that was a sacrifice to show everyone what has been going on in life.”

Watch the clip below.

What a strong and smart young man.

My love, support, and prayers to the Sterling family.
