Adrien Broner Jailed For 30 Days

Adrien Broner was tossed in jail for 30 days after he showed up to court three hours late to answer to assault charges.

The boxer was scheduled to appear in the Hamilton County court on Tuesday to face assault charges for allegedly beating up a man outside of a bowling alley back in January.

When Broner finally showed up (looking a mess), Judge Robert Ruehlman asked if he was drunk or hungover.

Adrien told the judge, “I have been sick all morning. When I finally got well, I called my lawyer.”

Ruehlman wasn’t buying it. He told the flamboyant boxer, “It’s not a good excuse. He looks like he’s drunk or hungover. To coin a little boxing phrase – you’re not ducking this one.”

The judge found him contempt of court and ordered him into custody immediately.

Sadly, the case was expected to be thrown out had he shown up to court on time.

Adrien appealed to his fans to write him letters during his 30-night stay at the concrete hotel.
