Wendell Pierce Loses “Everything” In Baton Rouge Floods
11 years after his childhood home was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, actor Wendell Pierce‘s home was destroyed by flooding in Baton Rouge.
On Sunday, the 52-year-old Louisiana native took to Twitter to reveal he and his neighbor were “flooded.”
My neighbors & I have flooded in Baton Rouge. I am reminded of the generosity given to my family during Katrina. Now we will care for you

TMZ caught up with the actor at LAX and grilled him with questions despite the fact that he was visibly upset.
Wendell told the harassing interviewer, “I don’t know what I’m going to do. I just lost everything.”
Despite his devastating loss, Pierce is still doing his part to help others.
