Justin Tipping‘s feature debut, Kicks, tells the story of Brandon (Jahking Guillory), a 15-year-old boy living in the Bay Area.
Brandon is poor, ignored by girls, bullied, and the one thing he wanted more than anything was a fresh pair of Jordans.
Using his life’s savings (all 15 years of it), Brandon copped the Air Jordans and his life instantly changed. He was the man…temporarily.
Fast times slowed up when the neighborhood goon, Flaco (Kofi Siriboe), snatched the kicks right off of Brandon’s feet.
From that moment, Brandon and his apprehensive friends (Christopher Meyers, CJ Wallace) stopped at nothing to get his kicks back!
