A 32-year-old woman was arrested after she posed as homeless teen to enroll in a New York high school.

Michaelann Goodrich told Cairo-Durham School District administrators her name was Riley Madison and that she was 15-years-old.

On December 20, Goodrich rode the bus to school, attended classes, and rode the bus home. She was absent on the 21 just before the holiday break.

She was arrested on the 28th and charged with offering a false instrument for filing, falsifying business records, and criminal trespassing.

Investigators are completely baffled as to why Michaelann tried to enroll in school because sis already has her high school diploma.

Joel Rowell, Senior Investigator with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, said:

She could’ve gone in numerous different ways to obtain a degree and we actually found out through the investigation and that she has a high school diploma.

So that just leads to our investigation to try to figure out what exactly her motive was for attending school.

Under the McKinney-Vento Act, the district had to admit the Goodrich immediately because she claimed to be homeless.

What in the “Undercover High” is going on?!
