2 Chainz is on cloud nine after welcoming home his Aunt Punkin who served 28 years in prison.
The Hip Hop star posted a video on his Instagram page where he gushed:
I got something I want to share with the world. I’m very excited.
Some people that follow me know – those who don’t – my auntie has been incarcerated for almost 30 years…28 to be exact.
She came home today and I’m elated, I’m happy.
God is good. God is very real.
In another post, 2 Chainz wrote, “#welcomehomeauntie !!!! 28 years of confinement and you made it out with a sound mind and heart #Godislove ??”
2 Chainz has always been very vocal about the strong women in his life and how his mom and his aunties were very influential in his upbringing.
He shared a photo of his mother and her sisters taken 30 years ago and a new photo of them reunited after Auntie Punkins return.
