13-Year-Old Girl Shot Twice At Cleveland Cavaliers Championship Parade
Cleveland’s first championship parade in 52 years ended in chaos as a teenage girl was shot twice following the rally.
Minutes after the Cleveland Cavaliers finished celebrating their NBA Finals win, a fight broke out and a 13-year-old girl was shot twice in the leg.
Police say a 15-year-old, who had a gun tucked in his waistband, is in custody, but they’re still searching for a second suspect. It’s unclear if the teen in custody is the shooter.
The good news is the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
An estimated 2 million people flocked to downtown Cleveland for the celebratory event.
It’s so unfortunate folks couldn’t act right and leave their guns at home.
