Jamoneisha Merritt Honored With NYC Block Party & Prayer

Jamoneisha Merritt, the 11-year-old girl who suffered 2nd degree burns after boiling water was thrown on her at a slumber party, had the time of her life on Thursday (August 24) when a huge block party took place in New York City in her honor.

The day-long event included a double dutch contest, basketball tournament, a dance off, fashion show, live performances, school supply giveaways, and a prayer for Jamoni.

The block party also celebrated Jamoni’s strength and beautiful spirit as well as a very strong anti-bullying message.

Jamoni, whose gorgeous smile is larger than life, was also surprised by Ron Browz and rapper Fatboy SSE.
