Drake & Future Sued By Woman Raped At Their Concert
A woman who was raped at Drake and Future‘s Summer Sixteen Tour last year is now suing the rappers for over $25 million in damages.
Court records detail the 28-year-old woman’s account of what happened at the concert: She was trying to get backstage to meet Drake and a worker told her he could help. Around a corner, the man pushed her down and raped her.
Leavy Johnson, 38, was indicted on a rape charge in the case in January and arrested months later in Florida. He is now awaiting trial.
The woman is accusing Drake, Future, and the Bridgestone Arena of negligence for allowing Johnson, who had outstanding warrants for assault, to work at the arena placing others in danger.
Should Drake and Future be held liable for who the arena hires?
