Funkmaster Flex may have to spin a few extra records after he was slapped with a $1.65 million lawsuit for copyright infringement.

In a new lawsuit, photographer Christopher Sadowski accuses Flex of lifting photos he licensed to the New York Post and using them on his website without permission or payment.

The photos Flex scooped were of Whitney Houston’s gravesite, a coyote  a coyote wandering in Manhattan, and a photo of the new Freedom Tower.

Sadowski pointed out Funkmaster Flex’s website is (allegedly) full of photos and videos he doesn’t have the right to use.

He is suing for an injunction to have all of his copyrighted work immediately removed from Flex’s site along with $1,650,000 in stator damages and $275,000 for violation of the DMCA.
