Last weekend, my family and I had the pleasure of experiencing the brand new Great Wolf Lodge resort in LaGrange, Georgia.
Not only did we have a blast – but we made memories that will last us a lifetime!
After telling everyone I know about our weekend getaway and going through tons of pictures – I wanted to share 7 Reasons Why You’ll Love Great Wolf Lodge In Georgia!
As soon as we pulled up to the Great Wolf Lodge resort in LaGrange and I saw the huge statue of a wolf – I instantly became as giddy as my 9-year-old daughter, who was squealing in the backseat of the car!
As soon as you enter GWL, you are immediately taken in by the spacious lobby, the comfy seating, the perfect lighting, the beautiful rug and the gorgeous fireplace in the sitting area.
Someone had on their thinking cap while mapping out the resort!
It was spacious enough to accommodate large crowds (there’s nothing worse than weaving through families and bumping random strangers while trying to have fun).
The attractions and dining options were in great proximity of each other. After working up an appetite while having fun – you’ll appreciate this!
The restrooms were also well placed throughout the resort because every parent knows finding a potty can be a “life or mess” situation!
Great Wolf Lodge is as clean as the board of health!
I was truly impressed with how neat and clean every area of the resort was considering it was filled with kids of all ages.
Last, but certainly not least, the music throughout the resort is nothing short of fantastic!
There were countless moments when I caught myself dancing and singing my heart out to some of the best songs from the past and present.
Like…seriously, who gave Great Wolf the soundtrack to my life?!
Our Family Suite
I’m always leery about my sleeping quarters when I’m away from home, but I was very happy with our family suite.
Our room had two queen-size beds, a full-size sleeper sofa and a living space with a small desk for me to set up my laptop so that I could blog-before-bed.
Not only were the beds comfy…the pillows were delightful and the shower head was fantastic!
The girls immediately gravitated to the “treasure chest” in the room!
The main attraction at Great Wolf Lodge is their enormous 100,000-square-foot indoor water park.
Oh, it was so much fun!
We enjoyed the wave pool, the lazy river and we conquered the Triple Thunder waterslide!
After wearing ourselves out in the water, we relaxed in our cozy cabana.
In addition to the indoor waterpark, Great Wolf Lodge has an Adventure Park where you can climb to new heights, bowl a strike and more.
MagiQuest is probably one of thee coolest adventures for kids at Great Wolf. Your little one can get magic wand and embark on the ultimate adventure inside of the resort.
My daughter especially loved Creation Station, where kids can pick out their fave Great Wolf character, have it stuffed and pick out a super cute outfit for their new friend.
After attending the Great Wolf Lodge tasting for Barnwood in April, I already knew the food at the resort was delicious!
Great Wolf Lodge has several dining options to satisfy the pickiest of eaters.
Then, there’s the Great Wolf Candy Company. Whaaa?! Candy is food too!
My girls went nuts in here because as you can see there’s a smorgasbord of candy that will send the sweetest sweet-tooth into overdrive!
I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge Great Wolf Lodge’s incredible staff.
From management to housekeeping, every single staff member I encountered during our stay was friendly, kind, courteous, oh so helpful and lots of fun.
The awesome young men operating the Triple Thunder waterslide danced with guests before they got on the ride!
Everyone loves their job and it shows!
Wiley The Wolf Is Lit
Without a doubt, Wiley The Wolf is the life of the party at Great Wolf Lodge.
I captured the unforgettable moment Wiley showed off his dance moves.
